CNC Grinding Machine Inspection and Condition Assessment
A written, documented picture of where your grinder actually stands. MMS field technicians inspect precision CNC grinders against measurable criteria and deliver a prioritized service plan.
MMS field technicians perform detailed inspections on Kellenberger, Jones & Shipman, USACH, Studer, Hauser, Palmary, Supertec, Okamoto, and many other grinders. We test ballscrew repeatability and backlash, measure spindle runout, evaluate fluid system condition, document mechanical wear, measure linear and encoder signals, and check Profibus health.
Who this is for
Shop owners evaluating a used machine before purchase, who need a defensible technical evaluation before they wire money.
Maintenance managers diagnosing intermittent quality issues, who need data to convince operations that the machine, not the operator, is the cause.
Operations leaders planning a maintenance budget, who need prioritized service recommendations to make the next capital call.
What you get from an MMS inspection
A written report documenting findings, risk areas, and prioritized service recommendations.
Measurement traceability: ballscrew, spindle, and scale numbers documented against OEM tolerance, with photos of wear surfaces.
An honest assessment of remaining useful life on the major subsystems, so you know whether to invest, replace, or sell.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use your inspection report as part of a used-machine purchase negotiation?
Yes. That is one of the most common uses. The report is built to support negotiation: documented findings, measured tolerances, and prioritized service costs.
Does an inspection include any service?
By default no. The inspection is the deliverable. We routinely scope follow-on PM or repair work after the report, but the inspection visit itself is data-collection only.
