Mathews Machinery Solutions is a CNC grinder field-service company with 200+ years of combined experience, an exclusive Elaso North American distributor, and an authorized HEIDENHAIN reseller. We repair, maintain, and source parts for precision grinding machines across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
How MMS started
MMS was founded in 2019 by Larry Mathews, who led North American service for Hardinge grinding products across more than three decades. The team we built around him came out of the same shops: technicians who spent their careers on Kellenberger, Hardinge, Studer, and adjacent platforms before stepping out independent.
That history is the company. It is why a routine service call lands on someone who has already worked the alarm you are calling about, on the exact platform you own.

- On-site CNC grinder repair across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs tailored per machine, not boilerplate.
- Replacement parts sourcing for current, legacy, and orphaned grinder platforms.
- Controls and electronics work: Fanuc, HEIDENHAIN, Siemens, Profibus diagnostics, servo and drive repair.
- Specialty mechanical work: linear scales, ballscrews, spindles, hydrostatic guideways, B-axis rebuilds.
- Machine inspection, install, relocation, and brokering.
OEM partnerships
We are the sole North American distributor of Elaso precision grinder components: balancers, in-process gauging, acoustic emission sensors, workpiece drivers, and calibration tools.
We are an authorized HEIDENHAIN reseller of linear scales, rotary encoders, and control electronics for precision grinding.

Field engineers based in the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast. We travel nationwide and routinely arrive next-business-day in our home regions, 48 hours nationwide. Same-day response is available for production-down emergencies during business hours.
